Save lives in Ukraine. Build sovereign drone capability in Europe.
The two are the same mission. Every system we build is designed to do both at once β protect Ukrainian operators today, and ground real drone-technology capability in the Netherlands and Europe for the decade ahead.
A direct request from the people on the water.
We started Aquadrone because Ukrainian naval-drone operators asked us to. The need was immediate and concrete: save lives by replacing crewed missions with unmanned ones, wherever the risk to the crew is unacceptable. That request still drives every design decision we make.
We will continue to support Ukraine for as long as the support is needed. Ukraine is not a phase for us. Every platform generation continues to be offered to Ukrainian units, and the company is structured so that capacity and learning flow back to the front line.

Sovereign drone capability is not optional.
Drone technology is the defining military and industrial shift of this decade. Europe β the Netherlands in particular β cannot afford to outsource the knowledge, the supply chain, or the iteration speed to anyone else.
By developing something that is actually being used in Ukraine, and getting feedback directly from the end users, we operate at a speed of iteration that is impossible for programs that raise money on a PowerPoint and deliver in years. The work in Ukraine is, simultaneously, a deliberate investment in Dutch and European security, defence capability, technical innovation, and industrial base.
Designed, built, deployed, improved β in weeks, not years.
Engineered in the Netherlands by a small team that talks to operators every week.
Assembled in NL to industrial standards. Same hardware as the units already deployed.
In the hands of Ukrainian crews and on the water within weeks of leaving the workshop.
Operator feedback comes back within days. The next iteration ships in weeks.
Four returns on the same investment.
Security
Sovereign maritime-drone capability for the Netherlands and Europe β not dependent on suppliers outside the alliance.
Defence
Combat-proven hardware and operational doctrine, shared back with allied operators and partners.
Innovation
The fastest learning cycle in European unmanned maritime systems. Real users, real water, real feedback.
Economy
Dutch engineering, Dutch production, Dutch IP. Jobs and supply chain anchored at home.
Ukraine is not a phase. It is the reason.
Aquadrone exists because Ukrainian operators needed something nobody was building. As long as that need exists, we keep building β and keep delivering. Every platform generation will continue to be offered to Ukrainian units, through Stichting Protect Ukraine. Profits and production capacity are routed back into more units for the front line.
