Stichting Protect Ukraine.

Aquadrone is the maritime project of a Dutch NGO that has been on the ground in Ukraine since the start of the war β€” saving lives, protecting people.

Stichting Protect Ukraine is a Dutch non-governmental organisation committed to supporting Ukraine in three areas: combat capacity, evacuation of the wounded, and humanitarian aid for the civilian population.

The organisation runs regular convoys into Ukraine and works directly with Ukrainian units to identify what they actually need on the ground β€” from vehicles and medical supplies to specialised equipment. The work was the subject of the NPO documentary Konvooi, broadcast in December 2025.

The Aquadrone project is one of the technical initiatives operating under the Protect Ukraine umbrella. It exists because a Ukrainian marine unit on the Dnipro asked for an unmanned boat to spare crew lives on resupply runs β€” and Dutch engineers, working as volunteers, said yes.

Aquadrone the company is now scaling that work for allied defense markets. Donations and corporate gifts for the Ukrainian effort flow through Stichting Protect Ukraine, not through Aquadrone.
